What's the best one (mac and pc)? Has to be free. Positives and negatives of both would be nice. |

I'm gonna recommend two clients, of which I would personally use if I didn't have zMud.
AL Client, though it's windows only. - http://www.ashavar.com/client/
Quote: |
It is a completely free MUD client, which includes almost all of the features of a pay client, including a mapping utility, automapper, edit box, hotkeys, customizable buttons, and more. There are no banners, advertizements, or reminders to register or donate money. All future versions of this client will be free, and all of the new MUD client features will be available for free.

Another client I would have used myself:
RoA Client - http://rhoneware.com/RoAClient
Quote: |
The RoAClient MUD Client is a FREE graphical MUD client for Win95/98/ME/NT/2K/XP with support for VT100/ANSI colors, unlimited triggers, aliases, nicknames, highlights, gags, events, unlimited color scrollback, split-screen scrollback, profile support for multiplaying, autoconnect, custom buttons, and more. |
Have fun @_@ |

Gmud is limited.. while you can add aliases and triggers, it's non-programmable.. RoA and AL are both programmable |
