I was wondering, is there a way to have the hotkeys:murder target, dirt target, overhead target, etc... Where "target" is someone's name and have there be a way to change what name that is without going into the hotkeys setup? Something like the command 'target=Davairus.'
I am currently using JMC, but if this can be done in other mud clients, please tell. |

#hotkey {F1}{murder $a}
#alias {target}{#var a %1}
You mean something like that? |

Here is how I do it, I have a variable named "tar"
Then a alias named star that says "tar=%1"
To put the variable in other alises I use @tar.
Then when I want to target something I type star goblin for example.
So an alias that's pattern is "K" and the value is "kill @tar" when I type star davairus it turns into "kill davairus". |
