Just wondering how I should deal with con loss during the game. Should I use future trains to raise it back up? Or accept the lowering con and keep concentrating on raising other things like HP?

Use items to keep con up, ive had some level 50 chars still using the ankh found in the goblin village. Its worth it to have full con at the very least when you level so you got the most amount hps you can.

You'll find that most advanced players save 3-5 trains or so for anticipated constitution loss at 50.

Maybe I'll save 3-5 if I think I'm playing 600 hours, otherwise 2 is a lot to save, 1 is about normal, 0 is not uncommon. Use con items wisely like stolen rings, belt of life or steel belt, ankh, misc. other pieces. And quit dying to mobs.. if I die even twice to mobs in a characters lifetime I feel like an idiot.

Number of hours played doesn't really matter, does it? 61 deaths is 61 deaths either way, which works out to -12 con. It's all about how low you want to go and how much you want to sacrifice to make up for it. If you're playing a healer or paladin, I imagine you'd want to save more since their healing is dependent upon their con. But, if you're a thief or ninja, maybe that doesn't matter so much.

Yeah just avoid stupid deaths...this may sound stupid but keep the trains in practice form so your not so tempted to spend it on health...Con is more important it helps with shield block and health regen, and i also think maybe if you have a lower con you'll take more damage.

its a toss up. some really good players keep some spare to dump into con (assuming they die) but there are/were items out there that could also get your con up really quickly so other good players went that route.
