New cabal system?

Alright so obviously we're all pissed about nerd ragers... Sooo what if cabals were only for level fifties and at around forty-ish all of them had the same extent to squires are to Knights. Example john doe wants to apply for legion, at 30 he submits his application and becomes "squired" and is told to reach level fifty. He will be asked to perform the various tasks and quizzed through each step and then if he completes all the tasks and pinnacles he is inducted...

I dunno just a thought, everyone else might say this is useless and stupid or you could've already had this idea and rejected it...

The main thing that inducting at level 50 instead of 40 does is lessen the brutality of the gauntlet. Dying to higher level characters in opposing cabals is almost a rite of passage that every cabal member has to go through in order to make it to 50. The gauntlet doesn't need to be weakened.

I suppose thats a good point, but I guess what I was trying to say that until fifty they're just affiliates to cabals not "members", if an evil sees a squire they'll probably attack him outright just because maybe they want to join legion or whatever.

Cabal characters aren't "members" until their first promotion, never mind squiring and levelling stuff. Those are just hoops to jump through. There is already a trial process in effect at 1st rank.

i think it would be a good idea because it would give people more of an incentive to get to 50 and possibly make them less of a target in the game so they can spend more time ranking than fighting
