Wield in both hands via double grip:
LARGE WARRIORS: two-handed weapons
OTHER WARRIORS: two-handed weapons, oversized weapons

If OTHER/SMALL WARRIORS are double gripping an oversized weapon, they should be struggling to wield it right since the weapons will be bulky and big. So are there any cons for Small Warriors double gripping an oversized weapon? |

Is that really what it says in the file? Because Large warriors can wield oversized and two handed in two hand via double grip. Giants can double grip two handers or oversized but not normal. Normal warriors can double grip all three. Overbear only works for oversized with giants, and only works on normal size for normal warriors. So that quote doesn't seem to make sense. |

Actually I was thinking along the lines of maybe a gnome wielding a huge axe. Wouldn't his swing be slower? Will it be more difficult to hit the second, third and fourth attack? |

A Gnome probably couldn't wield a huge axe in the first place.
You should review the meaning of oversized weapons:
For medium size characters an oversize weapon will have to be wielded with two hands.
For large size characters, an oversize weapon can be wielded in one hand.
i.e. Claymore
Normal sized weapons:
For medium sized characters a normal weapon is one handed.
For large sized characters a normal weapon is one handed.
So, for double grip, the idea implies you're using both hands to better your grip. For giants, they are already grossly larger than the use of normal weapons. Giants cannot double grip a normal weapon (ex. moss-covered sword) for the same reason a Human cannot double grip a dagger. There's a serious size difference that makes the idea of double-gripping pointless.
You're holding a pencil.. are you going to hold it with two hands for more control considering its intended use? No, it would probably result in an adverse effect. Does that make more sense? |

You comment about a gnome using a huge axe affecting his ability makes sense Kaniyre. But like Hrimoyan said, if the axe is that huge the gnome can't use it at all. There is a strength and weight ratio of some sort that prevents it. I'm not sure the specifics, but basically if a weapon weighs 50lbs, a gnome can't even wield it period. Two-handed or not. |
