I'm pretty sure we used to have herald quests give pts but it may have been removed cuz making it too easy to get the title. Maybe we can organize this quest system better than we are doing..

The easiest way to get a custom title is, and always has been, to maintain exceptional RP for a very long time.

When you calculate the total quest points possible, keep in mind that imm-run special events (think Strythmas quests, etc.) are "real" quests and count toward the total, meaning characters who stick it out and do two years worth of holiday quests would probably get an additional 16 quest points.

What I was looking for with the Herald quests was to involve social interaction with it, but in hindsight it was mistaken. Heralds hold events, players participate in said events and then everyone gets a badge (a quest). That was what I had in mind but I was mistaken. We should have just segregated it from the quest system.

Future will perhaps split questor into: events (Herald additions, maybe seasonal), quests (current lineup), and feats (the old stuff which is still in the game). So then we will have quests only improve your training rate, feats only affect your description, but we'll let everything earn you quests points.


Also, generally I'm not feeling happy about the hoarding for title side of quest points.. that's wasting the other things we included. I think the challenge here is best left to actually completing all the quests, not just hoarding QP. Consider that a priority for fixing.
