An idea for bards

First off, I know bards are probably the most op of all classes, hence the strict RP rule, but this is something that I thought off for a while and would like to just say it.

First off, I know bards can tune their instruments, but I was wondering if there was a way to play their instrument. It would do something like a random buff, and while the bard is playing they have a slightly smaller mana cost for spells. But here's the catch, it takes more movement to go about room to room while playing.

I know this will take a lot of thought, but it seems something more than just hold an instrument and sing.
