If I was an imm I'd boot you for revealing yourself too. You should be setting an example as a cabal member. That is their discretion. Though it should be a clear point made so people don't go ahead and do it and then find out after they're getting booted.
And you cheated.
The fact that you had a char restored period is really pretty surprising to me. It never ever happens, so I have to agree with dav that if anyone looks like they received favoritism, it'd be you. |
I was not aware until Dav mentioned it that it was that rare. I see both point of views though. I am just going to drop it. This topic was about Religious Specific Armor anyway not tattoos.
I would love to see some (Sacred)(Glowing)(Humming) eq |

My analysis:
Pros: (Insert these once I insert some obvious cons)
Cons: Extra work for the Immortals, could easily alter game balance significantly (unless it's like Noble clothing and does nothing aside from affect (un)holy armor bonuses from weight), likely to lead to complaints, could contribute to a negative atmosphere. (Not that my post won't necessarily contribute to that last part)
Pros: IN THEORY, it could enhance the game by giving people extra incentive to join religions, and it could diversify things. But wait!
Another con: If implemented, those who do NOT get that special equipment when they're working so hard at it might delete because they think they're entitled, and then someone else gets it and they don't.
Conclusion: Do we really need to give the Immortals more work (I'm sure they will agree with me that we don't unless it's for a good cause)? And do we need to implement another religion based update when clearly people are already getting jealous about tattoos or thinking they're entitled to them? I think not. |
