'RESCUE'
Syntax: rescue <target>

When in combat, a warrior or a paladin may rescue their friends who are in
trouble. Rescue allows you to intercede in combat, protecting weaker
characters from bodily harm
. Success in rescuing depends on the skill
rating, as well as a comparison of level, dexterity, and speed between the
character and the target. Only warriors and paladins may learn to rescue
their friends.

Sometimes I rescue but you also got to consider just dirt kicking whoever they fighting can be more helpful, because then the opponent will probably just flee. Also rescue lags you and them. Havent seen warriors rescue too much... even seen other players complaining after theyve been rescued because they felt they were fine and you lagged them unnecessarily. Use your judgement.. if they seem to be doing ok and you want to help, then you probably dont wanna join in via rescue, and if they're really hurt bad, rescuing them will just lag them so make sure you do it right after theyve been bashed or something (incase you inhibit their escape)

On a side note, if a paladin is affected by Heroism, he will rescue by charging aggressor, neat huh?

so in laymans terms, say your buddy is fighting someone else, and both are in your PK range. if you type "rescue <name>" then you'll be in combat with the opponent. your buddy will be out of combat and will be standing there doing nothing until he moves or the enemy re-attacks him. you will be lagged for rescuing for 2 rounds. the opponent won't be lagged.

You can also kill your groupmate by spamming rescue on a swinging mob. You can't rescue, and they can't move because every rescue attempt lags them.

Rescue should really send some message to the rescuee.
