Avian Dark Knight Racial Legacy

Wings of Pestilence - while flying the avian has a small chance to spread contagion or plague when moving from room to room(no aggro unless fighting), with a slight increase in chance of spreading a disease to his/her opponent when in combat.

I tried to bring them back and got promptly cockblocked because they would have been too weak. Avian DK racial legacies are definitely being considered and it would be sweet to see some more suggestions

aaaaah, I was going to say, I thought I saw an update where they were brought back. I think their stats are pretty good spell wise, but they probably could use a racial legacy to help out their ac as well, since they can't carry that much weight for unholy armor, and maybe something to help boost vamp touch.

Avian would have been weak? I think removing the vuln helps make them a lot more viable. The flight ability would work in situations. They've got one more strength and two more con than drow for better parry/shield block as well as decent dex to rub out dirt fairly quickly.

I think they would stand a chance.

Davarius stated quite a while ago that in no uncertain terms would there be an avian dark night, citing, aptly, that it would be counter intuitive to have a heavy armor wearing flying race.

Exactly Stiehl. Quite a while ago. Don't know if you've been playing recently, but there have been A LOT of changes. I for one would totally roll up an avian dk if I had the time for it even if they were considered underpowered.

I don't remember saying that anymore, but it does make a little sense. Although we're reworking that skill..

Which is a good reason that avian dark-knight should be fine for a comeback as soon as their rework is done.
