I don't know if this is already a thing warlords have or not but I think this would be a cool idea for warlords:
Let them appraise items at the juggernaut for like 1-10 warlord medals per appraisal. It can be a huge pain carrying around a pile of gambled items and having to pay big money to identify them. This would let them check that stuff out pretty cheap.
Is it a good idea? Easy to implement? Just a wee quality of life thing I thought of. |

Implementation would be fairly easy and I'm not opposed to the idea, but you can already get free or dirt cheap appraisals from the source of the item, though. e.g. a dragonblood silver-grey signet can be appraised at Unlucky for 10gp while costing 2510gp everywhere else. |

I wouldn't give this to just warlord, I would code it as a quality of life feature for all cabals giving them cheap appraisals for their cabal currency at their cabal shop. |

Oh, I forgot that overlords get farmed for gear these days. I bet any shopkeeper in the same area as the source item would still offer the discount, but I'm not opposed to getting this implemented for QoL anyway. In general, I like this tied to a mage-flavored mob that accepts relics, but we should also have a mob willing to do it for medals so Warlords have a thematically-appropriate avenue to make use of it as well. If you recommend an appropriate mob of each flavor, I'll get to it at some point. |

I think the juggernaut would make sense for medals and maybe zepherleanic for relics? |

answer = no duh. these characters have given up magic. its already quite obvious that is watered down enough without giving warlords basically free id. i mean shit dude. at this point you already dont even bother to ask a mage to id. you dont ask a mage to faerie fog the spriggan so you can get your blood candle. this is actually annoying for mage players who are making sacrifices to have that utility. in fact i was coming around to agreeing that warlords are a little bit out of hand and shouldnt be basically strike of cobra for hellstream damage and have all the best mage spells as a skill |

Whoa, whoa, what? This didn't have anything to do with warlords being OP or UP. I was just thinking if you died and got your sack back with 20 random items in it that you've been carrying around for a month it would be pretty brutal to go ID them for like 2500 gold a pop.
Like the title said, it was just a tiny QoL shower thought. If it's a bad idea that's cool. I've had lots of bad ideas but I've had some good ones too. |
