|I'm sure we all have our own quirks within our imaginations regarding how we "see" certain parts of the game in our mind (objects, mobs, specific characters, and so forth). It occurred to me that I can't seem to shake off the idea that mithril is a blue metal due to playing too much RuneScape before coming here. Likewise, adamantite (like the bar in the High Tower of Sorcery) is green, which in turn makes all four bars easy to visualize individually based on color.
The Ancient Ranger Lord's Stetson I imagine as a lot like the black hats worn by American cavalry soldiers - perhaps due to Stetson being an actual brand of hat named after a specific individual (I don't know who but I do know that there is a Stetson University not too far west from Daytona Beach). (Though it could just as easily be a cowboy hat like one of my late professors wore while riding his motorcycle)
Irrespective of Kikikale's actual character description (seeing as most of the time he's trying to kill my characters and I barely, if at all, get a chance to read it before he attacks me), I kind of imagine him as being like the stump-tribe shaman from Larkinor Quest (a game I played as a teenager). (An actual picture of the said shaman shown below.)
I had a shaman with a description directly inspired by Stukov from StarCraft (and more specifically his appearance in Heroes of the Storm) [Image also shown below. Note the mutations and size of his left hand.]
Anyway, those are just a few examples... I imagine for certain unique items like the Widowmaker Gothic crossbow which are found elsewhere (I think that's Diablo or WoW?), many of us have specific visuals for the item.
