At first I was ambivalent about the prospect of Groq leading Knights, because it would seem a little contrived to have a former Legion Imm leading the Knight cabal, but as soon as I read the note and began thinking about it, I immediately saw immense roleplay opportunities coming to the foreground. This can be pretty cool. *crossing fingers*
What do you all think? |

I think ambilvalent means something other than what you think it means. |

I think the adjective ambivalent has 2 meanings:
Meaning #1: characterized by a mixture of opposite feelings or attitudes
Meaning #2: uncertain or unable to decide about what course to follow
Groq being the leader sounds pretty wicked (ha!) to me. I can't wait.
Or maybe Resatimm would be better. |

Boggle. You're right in saying I don't know what "ambilvalent" [sic] means, but then again since it's not a word, I'm sure nobody does. Ambivalent, on the other hands, means precisely what Jamus says it means.
As I was saying, I was initially unsure (for those among you who are ambivalent about the word "ambivalent") about Groq's conversion, but now I think it's a great idea. I mean, think about it. There is an element in the Knights creed that encourages quite a bit of fanaticism and physical violence, which is totally appropriate considering the very purpose of Knights. But with the conversion of Groq, another aspect is being highlighted, that of missionary work. Admittedly, this kind of work will never have a prominent place in a pk mud, but it does give some kind of foundation for more RP. Don't know how this can be developed, but the possibility is always there. Anyways, Homi is going to go to town on this.

Groq!?! I can see interesting rp, I can see (from a rp perspective) how any current Knights wouldn't disagree with that... but older charecters such as Aldacer, who would deal with Knights, might disagree with that. Could be interesting. |
