Since drow warriors have a pretty good amount of mana, even for a warrior class, was thinking about this.
Ilythar's Bane- Like their elven cousins use of spellbane, Ilythar has introduced a new form of that legacy. Adapting to the dark ways, the queen has allowed all drow warriors the opportunity to counter-attack initiative magical attacks. Though, by forming with shadow, the tactic was not perfected, and thus, can only be used when the Drow is outranked by his opponent.
Does not counter attack prayers, because clerics close their eyes and do not utter words to use their powers.
When a mage uses a spell to initiate battle, the drow, being almost as intelligent as an elf, has sort of a pre-emptive strike torwards the mage.
Lashing at him with his weapon, or maybe allow it to only be used when wielding favoured weapons....? Which is flail and dagger...nice combo. Heh.
Anyway, tell me what you guys think. |

Is that too much like spellbane? I thought it had a nice ring to it. |

Autosneak helps counter people's initiates, and I'm not sure who is scrolling spells in. So I'm not really wow'ing over this legacy. Most legacies (especially the "low level aid" ones) seem to make me do that. Stuff like unblockable murders while dual wielding and things. That'd be good for flee/murdering mages and healers, but raped by hobbles and dirt shutdowns. The drows high hitroll downplays the unblockableness.
Anyway, I guess that's an answer.. |
