Do they have a place in the current game?

Can Warlord take their place in the cabal dynamic if they don't?

One of my takes about Keepers, is that they are culturally different than their original purpose. As a mortal I took on some remnants of Warlord values in RP along with Keeper values. With Warlord back, Keeper gets to shed this additional identity (and has been doing so over time) it decided to bare.

However, that's the pbase's impression of Keeper, so now it's a culture shock and a seeming RP purpose void now that Keepers are pure balance focused and able to shed the noble sense of it, should its members choose to. It would be an easier transition with a large pbase I agree, and I've even thought the return of Warlords would mean the end of Keepers so I'm not surprised people have this take on it.

I think Warlords taking on issues of balance dissolved a bit of their purpose in the first place before they went under, because this is what they were doing. Duels just kind of took a backseat and it became the Warlord Witchhunters. I don't think it was or would be good for their culture.

I wouldn't even mind turning Keepers into an underground group like Assassins charged with the same purpose. Agents of Balance and whatnot, but Dav has always had my confidence with the direction of this game and still does.
