Was for some reason, randomly thinking about stone skin today. Would it be too OP if it made one resistant to weapon/physical damage? I think only a few classes get it as a spell. Just an idea. If you ever watched Ninja Scroll, it makes me think of Tessai.

Protection, sanctuary and AC is just fine for healers. Stupid hard to die as one. or lose for that matter.

Also stupid hard to kill anyone. Cursing someone into a pit isn’t even a guarantee anymore.

Gotta be fast and good at tracking for sure. It's by design as defensive clerics they're not going to get nukes or lag skills. Also you want to dump everything into your weapon hit/dam. They can also fly so...unlimited movement for flee/murder.

Truth is I thought it already reduced weapon damage like stone giant skin.

After much watering down of my favorite class, some extra defense would be good.

I know I am to blame but come on, let the mirrors attack again, I would trade that for razor strings.

TBH the marionette is underrated, let it start picking up stuff and give it sign language, epic.

"stone skin" resistant to physical damage is too much because that is a prep anyone can just gather, its perfectly fine as an armor class increase, and I expect you already know this.

I have had a liking for stone armor from the earth ruler for a long time and tried a few builds around magic items. Also why I have suggested a class that could encourage magic items to pop off.

Sharing a secret with the hopes the gods don't "fix it". Trying to enchant stone plate, when it fades it loses all benefits and banes, but the casting of stone skin remains. Do with that what you will.
