Nope... not all the active ones are deleted yet.

People need to condie/delete their current ones before work can get seriously under way on fixing/balancing the classes... so go gripe at someone that has one that you know.

What happens if someone forgot that they even had that character? I know someone (definitly NOT ME) who has a psi, but forgot they even had it. I'm sure they don't even know the password for that char.

Edit: Arcanus hasn't been deleted yet. What's his password?

Heh, I saw a lowbie psi today. Doubt they deleting anytime soon. I hope they pinnacle soon and have fun with them before it's time for them to be shut down. That's the best you can do right now because when the Imps are ready to work with them, random players about the mud isn't gonna stop them.

Why is it that the current ones have to be deleted in order for the class to be worked on? That doesn't make any sense. AR has a test port for a reason. Were all the zerkers deleted before the class was revamped? No! Were all the warriors deleted before the class was revampe? No!

The reason why they aren't coming back soon is because the Imms have more on their plate than working on two classes. I think Burzuk mentioned a combat module C.

We're planning to rebuild from the ground up, which means reassigning existing skills into new skills is going to be a huge PITA, as well as if skills get moved around in levels (what happens to proficiencies when a level 15 skill becoming a level 35 skill, etc). It saves us a ton of work if we don't have to worry about legacy characters. And frankly, I dislike the current druid and psi implementation enough that I don't want them floating around anyway.

I think you'll want to see us finish Combat Module B before we start talking about Combat Module C.

But does that stop you from working on the classes? I would think that only stops you from implementing the classes. As you said, it would be a lot of work [and would take a long time to finish].

This is for Burzuk, Davarius, or anyone else that has say so about druids.

I was thinking about a way to make them more dependent on nature and weather. I recall Burzuk mentioning that they are going to be more complex then a thief or warrior to play. I was not sure if he meant that they would be more complex then they are now or just compared to thieves. But anyway what I was thinking would definately make the complex. If anyone is interested then let me know where to post it or where to send it.

Psi guild destroyed by trees? Whats going on with psis and druids? I was really looking forward to the psi revamp for a next char.

I would think 2 actual classes, even less important ones, would have to be a big priority. Thats a small, but still significant chunk of the game in limbo imo.

I know, thats the lamest way to take out a guild too, being destroyed by trees.

Are you going to bring it back or something? Or are psis gone forever?
