I've gone over this topic hundreds of times now...
The law is still the law whether Justices are around or not. If you choose to break the law, that's the risk you run. Nobody forces your hands to type 'murder Bob,' you do it yourself. |

I agree fully that the justice cabal is a bunch of crap, not because of the idea of a justice cabal but the people who end up in it, dirty m#tha^#@%ers, from experiance that is. but best bet is to always asume that one is hiding in the shadow or whatever they will to catch you red handed.
I hope they choke,

By the way the new subordinate (Deputy) is anonymous and can report crimes. So now you dont have only players on Justices to blame. Anybody can make a lawful and do it.
If you dont have the balls to get wanted for a PK in town, dont PK in town. Thats the solution. DONT PK. Read the cabal guide I wrote. Justice achives stability through deterrance.
Also, that werewolf avatar sucks. |

Getting flagged is a human affair. Getting chased down by justice is a human affair. Getting killed by a justice, guard only or not, is a human affair. Exp loss doesn't make any sense. Up other penalties if you need to. (edit - if its 1.5k now, who cares).

Dude they just removed or got realy close to removing the mob death penalty. Gives you like a 1.5k penalty now. WHY ARE YOU STILL BITCHING.
Rank to fifty, pk in town all you want. Now its easier. Dont whine. |

You've got nothing to whine about. There was a short-lived era of Justices hiding behind blankets of darkness in town just to flag everyone that attacked in town. It worked mighty well, so quit your whining. |

The point of exp loss is to dissuade non-50s from getting wanted. Because we dont want town to be bedlam in low levels. |

No one likes getting their hand caught in the cookie jar.
Face it, if there was no 'risk' to murdering a foe, it would get boring.
Half of the thrill of picking someone off in town is the fear of getting flagged. Hell, back in my day, we wore [WANTED] flags as a badge of honor. I remember a couple of the crew I ran with (Orcrist, namely) who made damn well sure he always had a [WANTED] flag on.
Most of us back in the day who served chaos in some form or another ensured we always had the [WANTED] flag up...for a couple of reasons. Namely, to show Justice that their laws were laughable, and secondarily to show how well we could survive in the lands, even being wanted by the law.
So, you can come on here and piss and moan about it, and complain about how unfair it is that you broke a law and someone punished you, or you can shut you mouth, suck it up, and learn not to get caught in the future, or, if you do get caught, learn how to carry yourself as a man, instead of a whiner.
Of course, those were the old days. I guess I can see what those WWII vets always talk about now... ..."When men were men..."

Have to admit my elf invoker wasn't tough enough to deal with wanted flags. No flight scrolls + 1 defense + special guard = death. |

Those badges of honor were worn when you could fight back enskel. Or at least have the hp to take a few hits before you could spam flee. Being wanted is fun as hell, but only when you can actualy beat your attacker. Just rank, hit 50 and then get wanted. You will note the difference, and love the rush. |
