I was fighting today(couldnt get a log of it, sorry) and halflings are supposed to be resistant to harm, right? Well I thought so, and the harm spells, from a human shaman, one rank higher than my halfling, were mangling, doesnt sound right, is it?
Through sanc, that affects spells not just physical, right? |

Harm is an afflictive spell, halflings are no longer resistant to afflictive, just poison, plague, and negative(energy drain, vampiric touch, etc) |

Negative refers to life draining type spells, e.g. energy drain, harm, vam touch, and life drain weapon attacks |

Someone is getting their information mixed up here and for some reason I don't think it's Dav. Harm is a negative spell I believe. |

You didn't have very many saves vs. that kind of spell, maybe? Maybe sanc. doesn't affect it...? Maybe they were really proficient in that skill, maybe you weren't protected by magic very well. Maybe they were under the affects of some kind of magic - improving spell. Maybe thier save breaks were really high (most likely your answer). Maybe a combination of all of those, so the overall affect was huge. There are a lot of factors.
Wis/int affects it too.
Those are my guesses. |
