So I started playing Guild Wars and played it until I got tired of it all in two days. So, I was then ready to start playing AR. Which is when I found one of the more startling discoveries that has been put in since I left.

Whose bright idea was it to put back in stat rolling? This is some retarded shit, not only is it time consuming and annoying, but it penalizes new players who aren't going to have zmud stat rolling scripts built into their mud client. Brah.

I just roll over and over again until I hit a 92, 93, or a 94.

Kinda retarded.

You get 2 stats for 1 train at level 1 so perfect rolls are not required except for hp whores who want to leave everything at base. Also a lot of the time the 2-for-1 deal covers weak rolls, e.g. roll 21 str with a fire shaman (instead of max 22) and then just double train it. Assuming the max is right there.

Personally I think its fun.

Rolling helps newbies learn about stats from the get go and encourges player not to delete over silly things.
