|

I've been studying the combat modules a bit and have a question about style and type matchups.
Let's say I am fighting someone (and they are) in deffensive combat style wielding a flail and shield for example (shaft). Now let's also say hypoethically I am dual wielding a sword in primary and some segment weapon in secondary.
My question is, will I still have the superior weapon type and combat style even though one of my dual wielded weapons aren't blade type? Or will I need to dual wield two blades in order to have superior combat and weapon advantages?
Hope this isn't too confusing a question. |

Dual wield is considered independently - the prompt doesn't cover this because you need only worry about beating your opponents primary parry anyway, so it already tells you what you need to know.
So yeah, you can use two shafts to beat a flail. (Your post states flail is a shaft, which is wrong, its segment).
Think about these other factors too:
* his vulnerabilities (its almost always better to use his vuln against him, e.g. water vs dwarf, it blows away weapon advantage in overall damage)
* strength difference of you and the opponent (this affects how well he can parry, the better this is, the more helpful a weapon advantage is going to be) |
