I was trying to use a storm headed hammer, and it allows me to wield it. But as soon as I attack something, right before my attack, it no longer allows me to wield it. I get something like this:

You wield a Storm Headed Hammer.
(hit ice bandit)
A Storm Headed Hammer is too heavy for you to wield.
Your punch devastates the Ice Bandit!

My stats aren't changing in between wielding and attacking a mob, so I'm not sure if this is some bug... or what. I was under the impression if it's too heavy for me to wield, I should never be able to wield it at all. How much strength is required to wield it? I have 19.

Did you maybe get hit with 'chill touch' or some other spell/effect that lowered your strength, and you just didn't notice it?

Just a thought.
