Maybe, but its more like it just takes a good player to overcome having 1 defense.
Really you look at necros and its the wrong kind of skills - equipment gathering and sustaining ability (rend or acid), spam one spell over and over when you have that down, boredom and wasted time tolerance (zombie gathering), more boredom and wasted time tolerance (gold farming for medic scrolls, restore wands to whore), sleep and run away and keep retrying it like a blackjack whore.
Raw talent is always nice (and it will help you for necro like it will anything else), but theres a lot of pk creativity and imagination missing from necros. With some other classes you can look at your skills and really think about how everything could work together and come up with clever and new strategies or just find lots of different and crafty ways to get things done. Not so much with necros. |
