| yes but all of the combinations you listed also can be other classes as of now illithids are restricted to only being illusionists. and i stand by my idea to open them to other mage classes. |

All of the class specific races have some little perks when compared to others, minotaur charge, illithid bonuses to spells (which I think is still in) plus cone, beasts ability to transform and innate mastery of some ranger skills and slith's extra resistance to dirt. Whether these perks are worth it is really a personal choice. I actually think it's good to have some class specific races, I like em.  |
