So this has been bothering me.
Dude buys protection, money goes into coffers.
Gets killed by someone and mysterious money is used to place a contract on that someone's head.
Darkhaven-ite kills contracted and bounty goes into cabal coffers.
We call this a Win-Win-Win.
Perhaps, for the sake of a bit of logic, either the coin should come out of the Legion coffers to place the contract. OR a split should occur if the contract is not collected by a Legionaire. |

I think a better resolution would be to remove the gold income from contracts. Protection serves as a good source of Legion income, and doesn't make sense for the gold to be bouncing in and out like that, especially when it is needed to fund cabal warfare(granted less necessary right now as none of you can seem to nerf these legions down). If the lack of logic behind it is that much of an issue I think removing gold from contracts and having it just be a mark Legion has to pursue works better. |

I agree with that here, except in the case of person 1 putting a contract on person 2 for the sake of person 1 wanted person 2 dead but knows he can't kill person 2. |

I like contracts placed by other people. That should still be split between cabal and person who did the killing |

You also have to remember, it says that a person can place a contract on another person or an object. So, if there is an item that someone has you really want, place a contract on it and more or less, the Legion will be doing the dirty work for it. UNLESS, its been changed, not sure if it has. |

Pretty sure contract Item just might have never been close to efficient or worth while. Maybe in a few fringe cases, but I don't count fringe cases. |
