So whats the deal with Psions? They seem to be a great class, but very few people play them. Is it just not the trend, or is there some major flaw that poeple know about (that I don't)?

Oh my god Vertas, please stop posting in here. Yeah, nobody plays healers and bards because they make such crappy groupmates. That makes total fucking sense considering those are two of the best support classes in the game, even at low llevels (healers get cure crit at level 9, armor at 2, bless at 7. Bards get soothing meleody at level 1, shield of words at 9, battle hymn at 12). And trust me, the problem with psions isn't that they make poor groupmates. If that were the case then nobody would play necros either.

heh forgot to add necros on that list, yeah even at high levels when they rock my socks they still don't get asked to group much... Even with acid blast and tons of maledictives, most of them just... yeah necros rock by the way especially since now i'm really figuring them out ignore davs guide by the way it says always lead with sleep yeah good idea? no bad idea unless you have five ranks on them and they're only wearing dam equipment or you can flee and land it...

Secondly...Well Psions don't particularly suck at lower levels...I would never play one just because it's so easy to nullify 95% of their abilities.

Go stock up on full mental saves gear(get at least around -60) and the Psion is NOTHING.
