Exotic weapons are those that do not fall exactly into a weapon class.
They are usually either magical or improvised weapons, all of which require
unusual ways of wielding that are not explicitly taught by any guild. Thus,
there is no discrete skill proficiency governing the use of exotic weapons
and those of any class can make full use of exotic weapons. As one
increases in levels, one's ability to use exotic weapons will naturally
increase as well. Halflings and necromancers, with their love of unusual and
occasionally magical objects, are drawn to using exotic weapons, and as a
result have a natural bonus to knowledge of exotic weaponry, regardless of
their level. An exotic weapon's unusual attack is difficult to parry against,
but its unusual construction likewise makes it a difficult implement to parry
with as well, depending on how weird it is.
