PRACTICING

'PRACTICE' Syntax: practice Syntax: practice <skill/spell> Syntax: practice <1-100> PRACTICE without an argument tells you your current ability level in all the skills and spells available to you. You can check this anywhere. PRACTICE with an argument practice that skill or spell. You may learn to 75% proficiency in a skill or spell from your guildmaster. You must be at a guildmaster to practice - these can be found in every HOMETOWN. Monks are the only exception to this rule. They practice with the priest within their monastery. PRACTICE with a numerical argument will show all skills that have yet to reach the specified proficiency. This may be useful to dig up unpracticed skills, or skills that require some work. The higher your INTELLIGENCE, the more you will learn from each practice session. The higher your WISDOM, the more practice sessions you will have each time you gain a level. Unused sessions are saved until you do use them. Spare practices can be converted to trains, which can then be spent on stats (strength, dex etc) or hp, mana move. See help on GAIN. For bards trying to learn songs, see REHEARSE.
