Well how do you feel, be honest. I noticed that personally every time I make a character I slip into a pattern of avoiding training except on surges, and I feel i would play more if it wasn't for that. But that is an opinion, not speaking for everybody at all.
As an aside, lets also think about half-elf having this learning boost.
Are we really feeling fulfilled by this, or could this be improved?

Umm, I will normally just play a half-elf and train all the time. And when I was training at a level with the noexp on, I'd help people level because half-elves learn there stuff fast as hell in groups on surges. But, sometimes, the training during surges helps when you are in groups because I was able to get a weapon from 75 to 90 due to being someone using that weapon the entire surge. |

Also, the training on surges really helps some races like giants where they have a naturally hard time learning due to low int and wisdom. |

Your two poll options are too limiting.
I like the double training on surges. But I don't only train during surges. |

Honestly, if I decide to train a character not during surge hours, it is likely a character I am really excited to begin playing. I have had a few that I train whenever but make extra efforts to get on for surge to train as. I find the others I have never get trained and never will because I just made them due to being bored with real life and not wanting to play my main character due to my mood or something. So long and short of this, I don't necessarily use surge for training only but I definitely use it for training with characters I intend on making my main char. |

I have never not trained a character because it wasn't surge, but I've logged on for surge at times when I would have done something else, otherwise. |

Agreed, the two options are limiting. I don't plan myself for surges anymore, if I happen to get one and the training is doubled? all the better. |

I use surges for training but it isn't the end all. With the new stuff implemented with Overlord, you can get double training rates all the time. Still surge is really nice, and when I have training that needs to be done, I do try to catch surges. |

I only train during surges when Im not levelling a character up, but it really helps a ton. I really enjoyed the overlord xp boost though, because I am rarely able to make surges due to college, kids, and friends who want to game out or drink. |

I see, so basically, surges don't pan out for many of you (is that disappointing?) but the overlord allows you to compete, and that does not stack with surge so. . yeah.
Cool.
Although I'm told overlord is useless for training, so we need to fix that. |
