May be out in left field but what if you made it so that it didn't heal at all but delayed damage to a certain point before eventually applying a set amount of damage.
Almost like the monk is able to accept/ignore a certain amount of pain/damage but at some point reaches a final breaking point where the damage (or part of the damage) is finally applied to the character.
So during use it 'heals' the character but also accumulates and at a certain point the damage is ultimately suffered for real. Kind of like putting off the inevitable. Pushing your body to the breaking point, then it breaks (later). |

Shadow shuriken has been reworked entirely from scratch and all shadow arts mana costs have been doubled. |

the shadow haste thing needs to be removed or toned down. They already get third attack and dual wield. No need for them to have haste also its ridiculous. |

Shadows can apparently gate to the targets zone even when the target does not have any marks on them. Is that intended? |

My understanding is that skill is art of condor. Being a forgotten art, if goes on a 24hr cooldown. The shadow gates to a random location in the same area as you. So there's a possibility of jumping into a room with aggro mob there.
*this needs some imms confirmation on the finer details of the skill* |

For the sake of preservation and enjoyment of AR.. How about this stuff get discussed by a full immortal staff before getting implemented. From what I am seeing, I can not believe that was the case. Nor would I think the collective minds of our immortal staff would allow this nonsense to occur.
Sorry for the "negativity" Dav. Just calling it as I(probably we) see it.
Giving a class access to skills that grant permahide, can gate to the area you are in,- which means , for one: the shadow will always have the initiating attack-obviously they will use assassinate - 2: you have no idea where they are -near of close so you have to keep quaffing sanc potions back-to-back-to back just in case they are around or use their magic gate while you sleep, 4 defenses -one being an un-by-passable defense that works every single round guaranteed, beefed up damage.. and then after all that have to deal with the classes normal skills such as dirt/clobber/sidestep/uncanny and so on... IS just plain negligence. |

Dav, Xenyar is spot on. Ask anyone who plays this game, as a mortal. Shadows are fucking ridiculous. I did not know we were playing a Beta version of AR. Where shit gets thrown in then fine tuned later. We all spend lots of time here and it is pure negligence on the part of everyone involved to not test stuff before it is implemented. I love this game and I will go down fighting and crying like a fucking baby to get my point across. I don't scream OP at everything like some people. I might not know as much about the game as some people but I do know that Shadows right now are out of control and people are taking advantage of that. |

I'm going to have to chime in here and say that I agree with both Xenyar and beia. I feel bad about saying this, because I was whining a lot at how weak shadows were before the rework, but this is too much.
Shadows needed a buff, but this has been too much. |

Yes sir!
Can you please remove the Shadow's ability to gate to targets that do not have a full mark of shadows? Or remove it completely.
Just please at least explain the thought process and reasoning that led to implementing this ability so I can understand the logic behind it. |
