ottif, its intended to play werebeasts for that. Currently the werebeast race isn't correctly presented as human when they are in human form. But they definitely qualify. I'm not sure why we have "beast" in the who list tbh. |

Just out of curiosity, why are Elves and Half-Elves not playable as Druids? |

From a lore standpoint, those are disallowed because they are strongly connected to the fey races of acadia (the realm of the dead). Gnome is your best bet if you are looking to play something like that. |

I made a couple of small updates this morning during break.
- treants con is now 22 (from 20)
- treants are now required neutral alignment (existing treants will NOT be asked to align change).
- a female treant is now displayed instead as a dryad in the who list
- an untransformed werebeast is now displayed as human in who list |

what kind of monster would the Westbeast be?
maybe it has an ability that makes everyone fighting it flee East
and it attacks you if you try to walk West
it has a special cape that, when worn, makes you fly. But only when moving West, and the effect is stripped if you move in any other direction
it lives in the Western-most room in the entire game
now we also clearly need an Eastbeast |

Maybe mostly because I am also currently baked as hell, but I gotta say, I also pondered the existence/powers of the Westbeast. Well played, Nycticora. |

FYI : we already knew about the shard bug. However I personally couldn't reproduce it at all, ever, especially on my dev port. The new reports have thrown a bit more light on it. We need to get that one sorted out. Please let me know any scenarios where you lose your shards |

nah drinking anywhere near as much as I smoke is way too bad for your health, I'd be dead 100%
I don't even really smoke weed anymore it's all vaping and concentrates. |

why wouldn't druids get conversion? also... im glad reason won the day and weapon ward wasn't removed from healer/shaman but why wouldn't druids get it? seems like that's an easy warrior chain disarm win |

Druids dont get conversion because they practice religious tolerance. If they got conversion they would be criticizing other people's choices. They don't need weapon ward. |

I don't mind the absorb armor thing but is there a possibility this might change for weapons? I just seems rather hard to change your weapons during a fight because you have to absorb it getting rid of it from your inventory completely. Especially hard since I noticed the shards are still not getting put back into inventory yet, they still disappear with the staff when absorbed. |
