What happened to the sum number at the end? Using JMC, how does one set a script to get a high stat char?
Also, I'm not sure how to calculate the high-end rolls for various race/class combos... obviously I don't want to set it to perfect roll +1. |

Mummy! Welcome back! Anyways, stat rolling is not a thing anymore, each race has a set number of stat points it's a matter of getting a roll that maxes con and wis and moving on usually. |

Welcome back mummy!
When you make a char you get to add 3 trains at creation and each of those trains boosts a stat by 2. Less time rolling, more time having fun! |

Well you still need to roll stats before adding trains. Because you want optimal results with 3 trains giving +2 to chosen stat .
Usually if there is a char with several low stats that can be rolled I prefer to leave and train strength later as it does not affect immediate gains per level.
So I would make a quick jmc script something like #ac {Str: 20/20} {n} up to Str 19 and 18 hoping to get like 17 Str roll while dex int wis con come to max after using 3 trains. Similar to not wanting 19/20 wis but instead 18/20 wis to make full use of the +2 train. |

For an example, durg shaman:
Assigning attributes.
Str: 20/21 Int: 18/18 Wis: 19/19 Dex: 18/20 Con: 19/22
Whats wrong with this here? I can max dex and I can max con, but its not optimal, so i would reroll until
Re-assigning attributes.
Str: 21/21 Int: 18/18 Wis: 19/19 Dex: 18/20 Con: 18/22
now i can max dex and con both with my 3 trains.
because if i would roll this:
Re-assigning attributes.
Str: 20/21 Int: 16/18 Wis: 18/19 Dex: 20/20 Con: 20/22
I would not want it, because i can get max int, and max con but i would be -1 wis.
So i would keep rerolling until the perfect stats shown above.
BUT keep in mind that all the race+class combo stats you can roll have a fixed number pool, you can't really get better stats but you can get a better roll for the stat pool allocation if that makes sense. |

........there is a chance that I didn't know you could reroll the starting stats...I may have thought that all starting stats for each race/class combo were set in stone....I've never once rerolled since it moved over to this system....only been a few years right....

Max stats right away. Yeahh boy. I'm not sure why the double training doesnt at least require a perfect roll first. Everything is rollable in like 10 rolls with that stat roller. Unless you are like a halfing or something, and you need to worry about a large stat gap maxed. Which seems like the point of the double stat train. I'm pretty sure we could have done better, like number of double rolls is 3 - (number of rolls away from perfect) or something. no plan to change it. |

Cool, gotta say that's nice since leaving the computer on and rolling for days at a time was a pain.
