I was wondering why I don't usually play humans or even see many human players around (other than monks or vampire vessels), even though it comes with a sweet sweet 0 exp extra.
Is it because this is a fantasy world and no one wants to ruin their fantasy by playing as their own race or perhaps the stats are too balanced?
Would it be possible to allow humans at creation to reduce a max stat to 19 and increase another max stat to 21? Adding the extra 1 human bonus choice stat, a human could have a single max 22 stat.
This would allow for more variety in humans, more customizable play styles but at the same time, won't be too extreme (can't lower any stat than 19 and can't raise any stat over 21 using the dropped stat)
For example, a warrior could get themselves 21/19/19/21/21 or 22/19/19/20/21.
or, if someone wants to get 4 practice sessions per level, they could go for 22 wis and sacrifice some less needed stat for their class.
I'll admit I don't know shit about stats balancing but I thought this might increase the number of humans playing that aren't monks or dkns trying to become vampires.
Let me know what you guys think, would it be too OP this way? |

We already allow humans to pick their prime stat. I don't think exp cost is a big of a deal as it used to be though, you can just catch a surge or drop a guild reward and level decently quick even on "meh" exp. The previous allure for humans would've been smoking people with an 8 level advantage, and that's also less important. So maybe there's something else we can do. |

the biggest concern about humans is the lack of gender fluidity |
