Most humans can fool other humans with lies and deceit, so it seems it would be easier to do so on less intelligent races like giants and sliths. I just want to ask how many people forgo their intelligence telling them something is a lie or a trap to ensure they stay true to their races limitations for quality RP, even if this might mean losing a full set of rares, and if you feel like others tend to do this? Also, would it be worth trying to be tricky and deceitful, moreso against races that are supposedly stupid, like fire giants? |

I wouldn't say that fire giants are that stupid... they're stupid enough to think killing people is fun and incapable of joining mage guilds, but they're going to know better than to step into a pit of boiling lava because they saw a rare floating on it. They're not the dinosaurs.. I'd say fire giants can be played tricks on to some extent, like promising them equipment to get them to do stuff since they're supposed to be powerhungry. But once you know where the spider web is that's that really.
"follow me, and I'll take you to a pile of red dragon"
fire giant "hot!"
fire giant follows you
That's reasonable. But I think its fair he realises hes being led to a no-exit if he knows where it is. |
