I'm pretty sure there'll be a note sent when they're open for applications again. |

the reason, as best i can figure, that the vamp helpfile has been updated on the website is because vamps DO exist on AR.
However, dav's rule of thumb that he mentioned a while ago is that he wants no more than 1 vamp for every 20 to 30 active players at any given moment, meaning vamps are not meant to be numerous -- they have many enemies and when they are abundant, the class loses the mystique .. fact of the matter is that it is entirely up to the imps and mostly dav right now who gets vamped or not. the class having some issues doesn't help either but consider this. i got vamped when the class still had issues back then too (many rooms that were listed as 'inside' sectors were actually outside). my best advice to you is to do something in game to totally make someone go 'this guy has earned his spot.' obviously, common sense will tell you that your past history is going to be a factor in the decision to bestow you the coveted powers. if you put your dues in though, maybe vamps will be placed higher on the to-do list of things to take a look at, and we'll see the revival of the class. its the players who ultimately push the direction of AR. |
