Noticing how the body parts decay pretty quickly, I would like to suggest a rogue skill. Maybe ninja more than thief, but it could go for both of them. I suggest that they get a skill that preserves the body parts of the creatures they kill for either a longer period of time than the current time or indefinitely. |

I like where you are going with this, but I think you are missing the key element. If I decide to collect decapitated heads, I should have a bag that preserves them. How about a bag that keeps body parts fresh. I think a bag of collected heads is in order, but it could also preserve body parts for those people who are too cheap to buy food.

Or how about they just kill something else, since they're rogues, and rogues just kill shit and loot its gold. Preserving body parts is not for them. |

Sorta like how warlord fatality created trophies, but I guess since theres a rating system now that's not really as important. |

I don't think bards preserve body parts, they just make them incredibly filling. That is if you're referring to the song that's named King's Feast or something like that. |

It also makes the bodyparts last quite a lot longer. Probably not long enough for lame rp reasons though. |

Food duration is not infinite for anti-scripting reasons as well as it being RP nonsense. |

That would be really awesome RP if you could create trophies again somehow with some class or some cabal. I know that back in the day it was a massive insult if someone was holding a trophy made out of your skin/eyes/spine/head/fingers/etc. |

Implement "scalping".
a corpse of Kalist is laying here.
>scalp corpse
>You tear off the scalp from the corpse.

a scalped corpse of Kalist is laying here.
>inv
the scalp of Kalist
Make them weight as little as possible.
Yes, it is fairly similar to soul capture, but the corpse doesnt have to be empty and scalps give nothing but serve as trophies.
Make so that only evils/neutrals can do that maybe? Scalping is not what lightwalkers would do.
Also, remember Warlord's "record" system?
Why not use the very same system to memorize all characters PKs/Pdeaths? So that upon deletion it would even pop up on GY?
The more info and statistics, the more fun and ambitious the mud would get! |
