I think it would be cool if clerics of specific religions can make unique food depending on which deity they choose to follow. For Example being a follower of Davarius, a cleric would be able to make Bloody Brains, as a food. Maybe Cleric food is more filling than normal food, maybe it grants a little random buff or something. Maybe its just shitty food with a unique name. Just an idea! What do y'all think? |

Because nycticora thinks this is a good idea, obviously it's a bad idea and should 100% not be implemented. |

Was kind of looking for serious responses. You don’t have to be a constant troll. |

The only reason I can think of having religious food is for some type of ceremony or ritual. It would be purely RP though and I doubt anyone would use it. Religions aren't really designed to provide special benefits as far as I can tell so "religious foods" giving any types of buffs is a bad idea. |

What are you talking about Ottif? Have you played a Cleric lately? Religious Boons are amazing and provide religious specific benefits. There is also now religious specific guild issue eq, that is actually pretty good. Food would be just a bit more RP. Maybe make it so that clerics of specific religions can only make that food. Just a fun idea not a game changing mechanic. Take it for what it is. |

Well. Everyone would rather eat my donuts then throw them. So I’d lose. |

Well, not everything is all daily bread and wine... I can imagine Darkhan's people drinking either blood or some sort of dark wine while Diocletian's followers might regularly drink ale or firebreather...
For that matter, the number/types of (alcoholic) drinks could be changed.
Being able to create fountains of a specific type of drink would also be cool rather than default springs.
Adding flavor to religion is a good idea though. Holy wafers or some variant comes to mind as an "obvious" possibility of a specific "religious food", but I'm taking that straight from Nethack... |
