Correct, recently all quests started adding relics. Up to whoever to decide if they feel that's useful enough. |

Relics are useful, but not in the quantity given by quests. It would take far longer than a party of three ranking to complete 50 quests. Like double or triple, but it did not rely on having those people. |

Couples of items from me:
Not really a fan of berserkers attacks getting turned into one whenever they are raged. I feel like this really took the steam out of their rage because the person has to only dodge one attack. Not sure what the code looks like here, but the fury Attack is confusing to keep up than seeing your actual hits go through.
The Shire, loved that place for pk, ranking and training. (Never understood how bumpkin ended up in Tenebria instead of Mud Fall). Obviously this area would need a name revision since it’s OOC, but the layout was pimp.
I’m sure there’s other stuff, but there’s so much suppressed from those years I’m afraid to unlock those chests just to dig for old AR stuff haha. |

Just for my sanity, can you guys let me know if you are aware of the herald board in north square that offers repeatable quests? If memory serves, doing all of these is supposed to give trickle of exp you are looking for from doing something doable. |

Rimath's and Aruncus's quests can be redone daily. I am especially fond of using Rimath's quest on a daily basis because I get a bartering token (which can be sold for a decent amount of coins), some coins, AND the 10 relics for completing the quest. It also takes almost zero effort to use a gyvel dusk and 1,000 coins to make a gyvel potion for a level 50 cure blindness spell (they may evaporate unlike black herbs, but also unlike black herbs you can actually use them while affected by dysentery). |

Super fond memory: I was a super n00b and Dioraem, I think, (A halfling ranger) offered to duel me in just a turtle shell shield. He was an awesome character.
Anyway, I was such a n00b, he made the weather terrible, and then we dueled and he utterly destroyed me with call lightning. It was so great. |

Hmm kinda seems like volley/javelins should have filled that gap. I liked eye gouge as a concept but it was definitely frustrating to pk against someone with a 2 tick blindness that always works. that was back when bards had the pk restrictions though |

Emerald Sword.
Used to be any align, 1h'er.
I think 18 or 19 str min to wield. avg. 22
Just a slight upgrade as a go between. I don't see anyone using the current one these days. |

a HUGE stone club
Used to be 1h'er 21 str minimum, avg 21.
As a mortal shaman/priest/whichever, this was one of those essential re-equipping items to be able to produce results when you got gangbanged, and it encouraged more duergar shamans, where as now since its 2h, its just easier to roll human. |

I'll roll it back a bit.
Assassins garb giving haste
Monks beads strangling people before said monk dies
Monks actually hitting chakera attacks during pk
Psi's
Dwarf Paladins
These are a few things I would say I miss. I'm not sure that means I think they need to come back or not. |

I couldnt think of a better place to write this, but I think thief not being able to blackjack belongs in nostalgia thread. So for this patch, I've removed the mob adrenaline and victim adrenaline penalties from the skills blackjack and strangle. The mob one looked especially crippling to me, a sort of dont even bother trying for 5 mins sort of crippling. Also, the durations were just not matching the adrenaline prompt. That was severe.
Let me reassure as well that the reason the defensive affect is unchanged because it was so small anyway I don't think you need give a fuck. We shouldn't be worrying about that one. A fair hit to offensive adrenaline still seems reasonable especially given it runs off quickly. |

When red dragon didn’t wander
When rangers had alt choice for evil (slith) - s/n: never understood why drows be rangers?
Agree with Phostan about emerald and huge stone club.
When you could dispel scroll / wand effects like sleep on mobs you landed it on in order to train on them in remote places
Being able to buy from auction house without having a verified account and being able to list counterfeit items (does that skill even exist anymore??)
Assassinate actually killing in one hit in PK
DKN cleave (lol at slicing someone in half) |
