okay, I don't know if its just because I don't understand how to do it, but how the hell do I look through stuff on the Codex... I have gone to http://abandonedrealms.com/realms/areas/items/ but all I get is just the screen to submit something. How do I go through and actually look for the items. Do I need to use insight to actually see what is in there, or is there something I have to do to see the list of the 2776 items that have been currently identified into the codex. |

there are a couple issues like the boxes don't have "any" by default so that's not stupid
you can also press enter in the text box to search |

Also there is a delay of like 10 seconds for the search results to appear, so be sure to wait long enough. |

Is it a possibility to search armor by armor type? Like light, medium, heavy? |

Armor type didn't exist at the time the codex front-end was created, which means somebody will have to go in and add it. I'm not a UX guy by any means so any suggestions for making the interface more easily understandable will definitely be listened to |

After you press submit (which should be changed to Search instead) you have no clue if the shit actually worked or not. With sometimes some delay on AR's and your own connection, you just have to keep double-clicking it a bit more to see if you actually pressed the button.
So something like an indicator: Searching...please wait would be handy. Like a little loader icon at least.
And same bar like alignment, should apply to armor types
And maybe add mana for attributes as well? I remember I wished there would be one when I tried to get 500+ mana on my level 25 monk and was looking for mana items. |

This was logged as a bug soon after the Codex came out. Would love to see it implemented. I also logged another bug this morning to address the 10 second delay (was actually 19.2s for one of my searches today). |

Subqueries aren't optimized as well as I had anticipated for our version of mysql, so I did away with that. Let me know if you experience any other slow queries. |

i wish that switching from weapon to armor wouldn't remove all the parameters I've already set. The entire thing resets and I have to re-enter all the query parameters |
