In addition to some "big ticket" items still under development for this patch, we'd love to make your Strythmas wishes come true. The rules for this thread are the same as last year.

All I want for Strythmas is that secret menu, the one that expands the race options.

Maybe change the requirement to having an account for over a few years and a few level 50 characters in the Graveyard.

I submit Jyrdivar stayed in character as a loyal follower of Stryth, and I let him go hoping for a vampire. Swing and a miss. That means if there was a vampire in the past you did not like, well it wasn't me.

I will admit the standard race options have gotten better over the years, but the extra races are my Strythmas wish.

More ways for cabals to earn their cabal currency, eg Justices should get it when sacrificing wild weapons just like Keepers get their currency for sac'ing rares. Knights should get it for sac'ing evil_only weapons, and for getting someone to take the oath. Sky is the limit with the options here.

xp should be worth the same whether you are solo, group of 2 or 3.

with pbase down give vulns to common mobs to rank on. Make solace gnomes, medics dwarves etc

give each guild trainee the best skill as if it was a normal player and allow people to hire any guild trainee. Ie invokers do hell stream, thieves will backstab, warriors will hobble, ninjas sidestep

allow a merc/pet/charmie to permanently tank when the mob is blinded, how can a mob redirect attacks when it can't see who is attacking it

everytime you rank, you get better at a skill or spell of your choice

any class can initiate and pledge self into a religion.

Would definitely be great to just be able to pledge yourself to a deity rather than having to wait to be initiated by an imm, mystic, or someone in the religion.

I'm really torn about automating initiation, because that minimizes a big part of Mystics' role. I get that it sucks when there are no Mystics around, but there are Imms around throughout the day every day. Do you guys know to PRAY to get in touch with an Imm if you don't see one in the Who list? Maybe what we could do here is have religion choice needing to be approved by an Imm and let that choice be something we imms can see needs approving, like we can see when your background and your description need approving.

Interesting. What if there were a function to pray to specific immortals. You want to pledge yourself to Ceridwel, but Ceridwel is wizinvis. So you pray ceridwel: Ceridwel, hear my prayer, I want to pledge myself to you.

I'm against self-initiation... Hell, even allowing clerics to obtain coloured tattoos on their own seems a bit much to me, I've seen things like a lawful good healer pledged to Sedgwick (with a tattoo no less!) who would cast faerie fog in town if he thought there was a thief hiding near him; this goes against the lawful ethos.

In terms of wishes... Remove enhanced damage from shamans, they don't need it.

I've never played a freelancer, but the class seems pretty interesting. I think their max level should be increased to 50, whole set of skills and all.

please make requests like you are wishing on the Monkey's Paw and any vague request will be granted horribly twisted and evil and you'll regret ever wishing for it unless you're exactingly specific

like if you were really super specific and was like "I want Noldo to sell a green and blue striped kitten with a pink nose that grows into a blue forest tiger for 200 herald tokens" you might get exactly that, but if you wish for just "a pet" you'll get eaten by the anaconda that shows up in your bed

I don't know how else to put it, I've tried to tell you guys not t just ask us to come up with things for you many times in many posts. We're not able to just pull ideas out of our asses
