I have destroyed my former arena into rubble. And I have rebuilt in
Timaran. It is time for you to read the CHALLENGE scroll again. I dare all
of you to compete within my challenge arena. Glory awaits for those who are
victorious in the art of War. For the men without Fear.

Code: |
'CHALLENGE'
Syntax: challenge <opponent>
Challenges can be placed upon opponents while in the arena of the
Warlords, located within Timaran. To be able to place the challenge, you
and your opponent must both have exceeded the 36th rank of your respective
guilds. The challenge is fulfilled by death, and the result will be saved
into the combatant's RECORD. If either combatant leaves the arena before
there is a death, the challenge will be broken.
Warlords are the surveyors of challenges, and will dole out deathmarks
to those who back out and interfere in challenges. The full rules of
challenges are available at the entrance of the arena. It is left as
an exercise for the adventurer to find out exactly how painful a
deathmark can be.
Note - If you wish to be able to duel on RECORD in any part of the
realms, then you should seek membership of the Warlord's cabal.
Only Warlords may have a RECORD that is not restricted to the arena.

Bugs go in this thread only. Don't start a new thread.
This is the recap
1) get to 36+
2) walk into the arena with your buddy
3) challenge <buddy name>
4) fight to the death
5) record <your name>
The arena has rules, and if you break them with a Warlord watching, you will be deathmarked.. and a deathmark is grounds for a raping from Warlords, so don't do that.
If everything worked out ok, then the Juggernaut should yell to announce duels, yell when somebody wins/loses, and also the record should save when someone dies. Also, he should be communicating everything that happens in the arena.
Oh yes, the location of the arena. Here are the directions-
1) go to centre of timeran
2) two east
3) north
If you want the pets that used to be on sale there, they're now on sale in the dwarf bar, with the brawlers. So you can buy your own dwarf brawler now as well. |

Ok so what if people want to duel in Serngale is it in town again so there's a high chance for area attacking people to smoke other pk's? |

With anyone over 35 it is possible to have a record on them. Perhaps have more than one record list, it might help. like divide warlords and everyone else or something. Not sure how you would want to do that, but it is up to you either way. |

I'd assume that duels won't be allowed in Seringale anymore, or perhaps it will be a "duel-at-your-own-risk" thing where if you attack someone else (area spells, windmill cleave, bad targetting, etc.) then your ass gets wanted.
Don't know how that's gonna play out yet. |
