For players upon other players only:
The LORE ability will allow you to compare your hitroll/damroll/weapon
with that of your opponent. This does not divulge any specifics, just
a guideline as to how you match up with them.
The DETECT MAGIC spell will allow mages and clerics (not everybody) to
estimate the opponent's spell saves.
These extra abilities are activated when you "consider" an opponent.

So in other words a previously useless skill/spell is all of a sudden worth spending the 2 practices on. Interesting. |

actually i would just go with using one prac...regardless if it gets learned or not...easy to master with one prac |

Sure you can 1 prac.. if you want to consider someone like 5 times to get the message.. you can't train lore through considering others either. That's a lot of annoyance for 1 hp. |

if I had the spares I would use two. If I didnt have any to spare I wouldnt prac it, and if I had one, I would use one. |
