It's clearly not a skill or spell, so what does it do? |

Arcane is any spell that deals DAM_ENERGY. Hellstream is an example. Helpfiles are still being updated.
In the past, energy-type damage wasn't properly exposed to players so this is one of those things you "didn't know you didn't know". Nothing has actually changed (or will change) here, it's just a helpfile rework to expose more information to players. The only actual current gameplay element that's new in this area is that Jotuns are mildly resistant to Arcane (energy) damage |
