Within the world of Abandoned Realms, there are literally thousands
of unique items and monsters for you to interact with.  This helpfile
is a brief overview of many of our fundamental item concepts.
Overview
5.1 
Limited Items -  These items exist in limited quantities on the server.
5.2 
Magic Items   -  Items with special power.
5.3 
Forged Items  -  Top-line items, crafted in the furnaces of Grimforge.
5.4 
Relic Items   -  These items can only be acquired with Mystic relics.
5.5 
Gambled Items -  Randomized items bought from various stores.
5.6 
Set Items     -  Themed outfits with specialized properties.
5.7 
Wild Items    -  Items which can only be used by those of chaotic ethos.
5.8 
Orderly Items -  Items which can NOT be used by those of chaotic ethos.

Tattoos       -  Given to those who follow a religious creed.

Rotdeath     -  These items evaporate when the wearer is killed.

Imbue        -  A process used to reroll limited item attributes.
5.12 
Engrave      -  A process which allows a rare item to finish a set.
5.13 
Consumables  -  Magic items with special effects.

Cooking      -  Certain items can be cooked for nourishing foods.
5.15 
Fishing      -  Fish can be caught and cooked into elixirs.

Botany       -  Seeds can be planted to grow consumables.
Services

Auction      -  Use the Trading Post to exchange items.

Contract Item - Use the black market to put a hit out on an item.

Tasks        -  Shops will offer gold for certain items.

Bank         -  Use banks to store gold for later.

Nexus        -  Use the nexus fast travel system to get about quicker.

Codex        - Use shops or potions of insight to see identifies.

Weapon Freeing - Use potions to remove cursed weapons.

Example item types:
Lights - For seeing in darkened places
Scrolls/staves/wands/pills/potions  - magical items that hold spells
Armor - things that you can wear
Weapons - for fighting battles with
Containers - for carrying other items inside
Food/Drink - for your nutritional upkeep
Money  - to facilitate trade of all other objects
