yeah. i would steal weapons first, then all purples. i wouldn't pry unless i had it mastered. i'd just go for the dual backstab to wake him up. he's probably got so much more health than you that backstab is the way to bring it down to a manageable level.
Make sure to take all of these guys suggestions Patters, they're good ones, but you have to react and adapt. You can't take one piece of advice and live by it, because while wielding a bow could've "owned the shit" sometimes, it won't.
You definitely always steal purples though. I know from experience that that blows hardcore. And pry is a tricky one, If your feeling lucky I'd pry a light if he doesn't have auto infravision, other then that, never pry is how I see things, backstab is better
