I basically wanted to test atonement and how that affects battle now.
So from this, all of my offensive power rotdeaths and my purchased defense armor rot deaths. And it seems no matter how rared out the enemy is atonement maxes out at 6/6 (this was the same case with Alzuur's log). So atonement has essentially been nerfed again and after death we're stuck footing at *least* a 60k bill rearming weapons and maybe potions (for a fighter class) and that's without buying armor.
I hear ya about the dex.. dex was -1 ...but yeah I need thews and there's no non-rare dex rings that can be found for neutrals (All of my extra slots are from effort to replenish dex) ..not too rich right now and I don't need to clean out cabal coffers of 100k+ for a dex item on top of the normal ~60k needed for death recovery. That rot death of stuff in sacks hurt a lot too lol.
Maybe the lower ranked armor (42) can be without the rot death flag, the compromise being you can't get the best results. The costliness of a Keeper using armor other than thews would only raise the complication. It costs too much to even give the non-thews method a chance (for non-illusionists since they need hitroll). I can agree with the rotdeath weapons tho.
Keepers may need some form of patronage income (like nobles, intruder/criminals, protection), because it's very costly to be one currently. Farmers would get by tho.
