Behind the Grand Curtain
You are in front of the entrance to the Guild of Bards. The walls are
covered with grandiose (and perhaps a wee bit overexaggerated) bards flexing
their muscles and prancing around with assorted exotic instruments. Fluffy
red plush carpet covers the floor, shedding small crimson fuzzballs that
stick infuriatingly to everything you wear. To the west is an elegant
dining room, and from the north comes some loud chorus of caterwauling.

The Stage Entrance
This is the entrance to the stage. The walls here are festooned with
banners and posters and pretentiously poetic graffiti. The door eastward is
plastered with flyers announcing various upcoming concerts and performances.
A surly looking usher blocks your entrance to the stage, glaring at you
fiercely. A passageway cleanly marked by coloured rope clears a path west
for the performers to enter.
