Julira was an only child when she was growing up. Her mother never told
her who her father was, as though that detail was of little importance.
Julira lived with her mother in a small townhouse with two floors and a
cellar: a ground floor for their bakery business, and the second floor
served as their living quarters. Life seemed good when Julira was growing
up. She always had access to plenty of wonderful baked goods, and she was
not above eating any items which were starting to grow old. She ate very
well in her youth, becoming big for her age and rather plump on top of that.
When Julira was 16, her mother sent her away to a group of supervised youths
for the summer to learn other skills besides baking. The group consisted of
fifteen youths with several supervisors keeping an eye on the kids. Julira
had rarely been around anyone her age, as she spent most of her time in her
mother's presence. She was not at all prepared for the events which took
place.
During the first day, the other children made fun of her for being so fat,
and she cried. The next day, when the youths were learning how to start
campfires, Julira was the first to master the bow drill method of lighting
them. The children made less fun of her later when they noticed how well
she handled the butcher knife when assisting the adults with meal
preparation. Midway through the summer excursion, Julira read a book about
a group of knights and a dark knight who set forth a challenge against all
of them, which only one brave knight took up after some hesitation among
them all. She also learned a few minor prayers which did not specify any
deity in particular, like words of grace before meals, or a prayer before
action.
Before long, the excursion ended, and Julira returned home to her mother.
She told her mother about what she had learned, and asked her about the
gods. Her mother replied that Kedaleam was a sort of patron deity for her,
as one of his favorite items was a donut. That was the first time Julira
learned about Kedaleam.
The next year, Julira again went on an excursion, and learned more things.
However, when she returned home, she learned that her mother had been
murdered in cold blood and laid to rest in the graveyard. Feeling anger,
Julira swore she would become a guardian, and not let such things happen
again to those she loved.
Description (commended):
There is a large, top-heavy human-like individual here. The specimen has
rounded hips and a decidedly feminine chest; therefore, she is a female.
She would appear human through and through, if not for her sharp-tipped
ears, which betray a partial elvish heritage. Her face could be described
as pretty; she has hazel-green eyes, large eyebrows, and full crimson-red
lips. Still, there is no denying that she is a big individual; those facial
features are complimented with a thick neck, an oddly large nose, and
chubby, cherubic cheeks. Her shoulders are wide and broad, and are not her
most endearing feature. Worse yet, her elbow joints seem to have been
absorbed into the mass of fat in her arms, with the arms being wider than
the joints. Her breasts obscure the view of part of her upper torso; not
that there is much to see there as it goes down to a huge, well-fed and
rather round belly. Her hips are narrower than her shoulders, and beneath
them a pair of stocky legs form the lower ends of her body.
