    1. My only guess here is how long until you can raise skeleton again.

Necrotether is just how long it can be away, so let's address how you made your skeleton.

If you used a fresh corpse I believe there will be less cool down time, but I assume you used old pieces by lazily summoning parts at a graveyard. It takes more energy when you put in less work.

Anyone can correct me if I am wrong, but I did try this class not too long ago.
      1. When you fail 6 times straight from level 1 to level 5 something seems bugged. But like I said doesn't matter not going to waste my time on something so poorly designed. Even if I raise a skeleton from the graveyard 46 hours at level 5 is stupid.
      2. I think goblins are good first choice but I admit this class is painful. Honestly I think necromancers lose more in death than any other class.

I never figured out how to store a nice zombie too, but ultimately found the time commitment problematic.
      3. Grayden> build a lair, upgrade a room to a kitchen, place a sepulcher in it. You can now store a corpse in your lair across logouts and reboots. You can also put an examination table in your lair to make it easier to raise the dead (decorating corpses with gold is now a thing to increase chances of successfully animating a corpse).
      [reply to Grayden]
    2. And by failing 6 times, it was on shades, citizens, Davairus probably thinks I failed trying to raise a tired inn keeper.
      1. Level of the mob matters, proficiency level matters. You should be thankful you even HAVE raise skeletons at so low a rank... Back in my day, necromancers didn't even get a flesh golem until level 25.

Also, the citizens of Seringale are not level 5 mobs to my knowledge, so it's no surprise to me you'd be failing on them at level 5.

Necromancers are intentionally tougher at lower ranks due to their potential at pinnacle (or that's my understanding). If you don't want the challenge, play a different class.

idk necromancer is the easiest class, just hit reply on any 5 year old topic and you're set.
      3. If nobody knows how to cause the bug then nobody knows how to fix the bug. You expected everybody to just read your mind like we're all omniscent. quite the contrary in fact, youve only wasted your own time, not mine

I told you in the big in game I sent that I failed every time to raise a corpse from level 1 to level 5 as a drop. I posted a log because your dumbass doesn’t log in to the game to check notes because you don’t care anymore. But you created a lvl 50 next onto raise skeletons in a grave yard like a dummy. Create a lvl 1 drow necro and see if fail over and over and tel me that’s normal pendejo
      5. game's dead, move on. sorry dude, thanks for your service
      [reply to Ozaru]
    3. This is the exact same shit one of the imms said when they rolled a druid for first time, and didn't immediately get the staff they wanted. Its cooldown is too long, I dont want to wait so I'll just delete it and maybe play something else. Just like you did. I'll say the same thing to you I said to that imm - blow me. that cooldown is to stop the necro from releasing and making new skeleton over and over - intentionally. if you can't handle the failure and cool off from raise skeleton (throwaway charmies) then this is saving you an exercise in frustration later when you can't tolerate waiting for strength damned, can't put up with failing animate corpse, can't put up with levelling the ossuary on every login, can't stand trying over and over to land sleep and waiting for that to be allowed again, and ultimately, can't stand re-equipping after being brutalized because you went full damroll rend life no hp as your "better" option. The toil of necromancers is necessary for the class, its not necessary for you to roll this. they dont login ready to go with a full army. If a second person validates your opinion by agreeing with it, we can revisit, but right now the necro class has received substantial buffs and there's no sympathy in this thread for them

Or you are level 2 it’s 3 ticks to regenerate enough mana to get 90 you fail again and again to raise a skeleton so you go the grave hard and you are level 5 raise a level 1 skeleton that does nothing. When you finally raise that skeleton damn time to go I quit now I can’t raise another skeleton for about 20 minutes real time at level fucking 5 that is stupid. And I’ve already blown you that’s why my breath is so minty fresh from your tick tack
      2. Probably a bit late to be chiming in here, but...

At one point, one of my bards was being pestered by a newbie for various kinds of help (including bypassing the request rules to obtain the Heart of Eternity set). They finally decided to start asking for tarot readings, and when they didn't get a result they liked, they deleted and asked for another tarot until I logged off in between their attempts in disgust.

That kind of trashy behavior is why I rarely aid people who are far below my character's rank. You don't actually *need* a skeleton for the first few levels anyway... By the time you're level 5 you can get a goat or a pet from the Seringale kennel and a "free" mercenary with the voucher, at which point it's moot that you failed to raise a wimpy skeleton before then. Even at level 2 or 3, having a pet is more than adequate to get you through the academy. What matters more at that point is levels, not having a skeleton which will soon prove obsolete.

At this point, I created this character 32 minutes ago, had two phone calls, got distracted by a child who wanted to talk. Now normally when I create a new character, before I even start at the newbie acadamy, I am going to run around, check 3-5 places for gear on the ground and so by this time an hour would usually have passed, but I would be at around 10/10 hit dam, for level 1-2 and this step that I just did wouldn't take as long. So there is that. All in all, my only feedback is maybe at low levels have spells scale to level. If I have 200 total mana and no skills to make mana regen better, it sucks to have failures eat all my mana. Beyond that, this wasn't bad at all, nothing is broken. Sounds like Oz just had bad luck, or was going for things higher level than him by too much.
      1. I was able to create a skeleton at level 3, about 5 th attempt was the cleric down under the academy, like level 5 skeleton. Later tested goblins and they are level 4 skeletons.

Also note using a corpse made like a 24 hour cool down.
      [reply to Dogran]
    5. Necromancer is totally ruined for me now.
      1. Lol

    6. Hahahaha. Nice to hear from you guys. Ozaru is still having his yellow card. Ever wondered how long does it take for a yellow card to expire?
        [reply to Merlandox]
      1. So, you can raise a skeletal warrior five levels above you, from my recent experience, off a corpse up to 13 levels higher than you. They are quite useful at five ranks above you, especially before rank 20. That being said, you dont even need anything other than a pet and a mercenary before rank 20. IMO, forget the skeleton and just get some levels....a pet and a merc will do.
