Flowing yet Hard.

Raised alone by his beautiful human mother, Legav had a peaceful, happy childhood. His mother worked at the local grain mill, she was hired to run the millstore. After sometime the miller died and things started to change. She was started working in the warehouse somedays, others in the dusty grinding room. Legav's mother never complained, she moved from job to job mastering each with time and hard work. Legav watched his mother at work at times, other times he just ran and played with other children. Then one beautiful summer day when Legav was ten there was an accident at the mill, the overloaded grain room floor caved in while his mother was working under it. The miller's family held a funeral, they spoke of her hard work and dedication to her job and son. Legav cried all the way through, paying little attention to the admiration everyone showed for his mother. After the funeral Legav slunk away and started shuffling home only to be stopped by the old miller's wife. She said, "Young man, I want you to know. Your mother is the reason this mill is still running." "After my husband's passing we couldn't do all thework required. "Your mother took to all the work with pleasure and brilliance." "She even redirected the water in the mill pond to better push the wheel" She continued. "She was a remarkable woman, you should remember her well" As a final thought the old woman said, "She flowed like water." Afterward Legav was sent to a monastery to live. He learned and trained with the monks. Never forgetting his mother or what the old millers wife said. Legav practices his mantra in everything he does. "Flowing yet Hard"
